Daniel Driscoll

Senior Counsel

Daniel Driscoll is Senior Counsel at Grey Rock Investment Partners.  Mr. Driscoll provides legal advice regarding the management of Grey Rock’s private equity funds. This includes fund formation and operation, structuring and execution of private equity transactions, and compliance with various regulatory obligations applicable to registered investment advisors. 

Before joining Grey Rock, Mr. Driscoll was Vice President and Senior Counsel at Goldman Sachs & Co. and an Associate at the law firm of Sidley Austin, practicing in both the litigation group and the investment funds group.  Mr. Driscoll also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Gerald Bard Tjoflat of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable Abdul K. Kallon of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. 

Mr. Driscoll received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. He was a member of the Order of the Coif and served as an editor for the Duke Law Review.  He received his B.A. in Government, cum laude, from the College of William and Mary.
