Summer Interns

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Join Grey Rock in our Dallas office for ten weeks in summer 2025. We expect to have four interns: two in finance, one in engineering, and one in operations. Each intern will work within their department on specific projects for the duration of the summer, as well as some shared workstreams between the intern class. Our goal for interns is that you get experience creating tangible deliverables as you learn more about the energy industry and energy transition. 

WHO YOU ARE

Grey Rock summer interns are highly motivated students looking to get real-world experience in the energy and energy transition field. University students are eligible to apply as freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. There is not a path to a full-time role following this internship, so younger students are encouraged to apply. 

• Finance interns should have coursework in finance.

• Engineering interns should have coursework in petroleum engineering and data analysis. 

• Operations interns do not have any required coursework but please note if you have any accounting coursework. 

Interns should be eligible to work in the United States and able to secure housing and transportation in Dallas, Texas for ten weeks in summer 2025.
