Nathan Baumgartner
A&D Engineer
Nathan Baumgartner is an A&D Engineer at Grey Rock Investment Partners. He is responsible for screening and evaluating acquisitions and divestitures for the company.
Prior to joining Grey Rock, Mr. Baumgartner worked as a Reservoir Engineer in DeGolyer & MacNaughton’s North America and Global Unconventional (NAD) division. During his tenure at D&M, Mr. Baumgartner was responsible for reservoir studies, M&A technical due diligence, fair market valuation, and reserves assessment.
Prior to D&M, Mr. Baumgartner worked for a boutique upstream petroleum consultancy, Moyes & Co, where he provided engineering support for the company’s international technical and commercial advisory services.
Mr. Baumgartner holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MEng in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
