Suhrid Mantravadi

Suhrid Mantravadi is a Partner at Grey Rock and a member of the Investment Committee for investments made in the energy transition fund. Mr. Mantravadi is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, and management of portfolio company investments for the energy transition fund. His focus is to drive business development for all energy transition investments as well as to accurately forecast and understand financial performance of those investments.

Prior to joining Grey Rock, Mr. Mantravadi worked at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, in their sustainable energies and renewable power groups, where he focused on international and domestic transactions in the renewable energy sector.  Prior to the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Mr. Mantravadi worked as an associate at Altira Group, an energy-focused venture capital firm in Denver, Colorado, and at McKinsey & Company.  At McKinsey, Mr. Mantravadi supported clients across the entire energy value chain, from the upstream oil and gas sector to chemicals, refining, and power, as well as manufacturers and suppliers to those sectors.

Mr. Mantravadi received his B.A. in business administration and his B.S. in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.  He received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Suhrid sits on the boards of Vault 44.01 and Conduit Power.
